Apple Dumplings
Sweet apple dumplings cooked in golden syrup sauce

Ingredients
- 0.67 cupSR flour
- 0.25 tspCinnamon
- 1 wholeApple(peeled, chopped)
- 15 gButter
- 2 tbspGolden syrup
- 2 tbspMilk
- 1 to serveWhipped cream
- 25 gButter(for sauce)
- 0.33 cupBrown sugar
- 0.25 cupGolden syrup(for sauce)
- 1.5 cupsWater

For the sauce combine all the ingredients in a saucepan.

Stir over heat, without boiling, until sugar has dissolved.

Bring to boil and then reduce to simmer.

Sift flour and cinnamon then rub in the butter.

Stir in apple, syrup and milk.

Drop level teaspoons of apple mixture into the simmering sauce.

Simmer covered for about 15 minutes.

Serve with whipped cream.
