Apple Sponge
Light sponge cake baked over stewed apples

- 1 tbspButter
- 0.25 cupCastor sugar
- 1 wholeEgg
- 1 cupSR flour
- 0.33 cupMilk
- 1 tbspSugar(for sprinkling)

Place the stewed apples in a greased dish.

Cream together butter and castor sugar.

Add the egg, flour and milk.

Sprinkle the sugar over the top and bake for 30-35 minutes in a 180°C oven.
